CHICKEN FRIED STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 c. finely crushed crackers
1/4 c. cooking oil

Pound steak to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into serving size pieces. In bowl, mix egg and milk. Dip meat into egg mixture, then into crushed crackers. In skillet, brown meat in hot oil, turn once. Cover and cook over low heat, 45-60 minutes. During last 20 minutes of cooking, slice a large onion over steak; cook until tender.
