1 can apple pie filling
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Add cinnamon and cloves to cake mix. In medium bowl, put butter into dry cake mix. Set aside 1 1/2 cups. Press remainder into 13 x 9 inch pan. Arrange pie filling over cake mix. Sprinkle with reserved cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream. Makes 12 squares.
