PORK CHOPS/PORK STEAK 
4 pork chops or 3 pork steaks
4 tbsp. uncooked rice
4 slices onion
4 slices tomato and 3/4 c. bouillon or 1 pt. stewed tomatoes
4 green pepper rings
1/4 tsp. marjoram (optional)
1/4 tsp. thyme (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown pork chops or pork steaks in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle rice over meat. Arrange tomato, green pepper and onion over meat. Pour on bouillon. Sprinkle with marjoram, thyme, salt and pepper. Cover. Bring to a steam on high heat. Then simmer for one hour. Recipe may be baked in a casserole, 350 degrees for 1 hour.
