1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tsp. paprika
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Blend all ingredients together and shake well until sugar is dissolved. Delicious over cucumbers, tomatoes and cabbage.
