CORN PONE PIE 
1 c. onion & green pepper
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 pkg. cornbread mix
1 sm. pkg. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1 can beans
1 can corn

In large skillet saute onion and green peppers. Brown ground beef; drain. Add salt, chili powder and tomato sauce. Mix together well. Add catsup, beans and corn. Pour into oblong baking dish. Mix cornbread. Pour over mixture in pan. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
