CRISP TOFFEE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. nuts

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, mix well. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts (makes a stiff dough). Press mixture on an ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.
