SUPER EASY ONION SOUP 
6 to 8 medium onions (yellow or sweet)
4 cups beef broth
1/8 lb. butter

In a saucepan, sauté onions in melted butter. When onions are browned, add beef broth and simmer for an hour. Put croutons in individual oven-proof bowls; pour soup over top. Cover top with a good cheese (sharp, provolone, mozzarella, etc.)

This is absolutely the easiest soup to make.

I looked at this and thought no way, but I tried it anyway. I did use salt to help sweat the onions, black pepper and a tablespoon of Worcestershire to add a little bit of depth to the flavor. What can I say? It is super easy, extremely delicious and something I have put in my go to recipes. Thanks for sharing this. You rock!
