CU'S BARBEQUE SAUCE | |
1 tsp. crushed garlic 3/4 c. white vinegar 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/4 c. dark molasses 1/4 c. light molasses 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. orange marmalade 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. ground mustard 1/2 tsp. allspice 1/4 tsp. celery seed 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 sm. bay leaf 1 tbsp. liquid smoke In a medium-sized saucepan combine all ingredients except the liquid smoke. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add liquid smoke; stir. |
