MAMIE E.'S FUDGE 
4 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 can evaporated milk (1 2/3 c.)
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 oz. German sweet chocolate
1 pt. marshmallow creme
2 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Mix sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. (Break German Sweet Chocolate into small pieces.) Pour boiling syrup over ingredients in bowl. Stir until chocolate is melted. Pour into buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Let stand a few hours before cutting. Store in tin box. Can be frozen.
