POTATOES WITH GRAVY | |
Potatoes, peeled & cut into thick slices or chunks Water Butter Salt to taste Flour & water paste Put potatoes in medium size kettle. (As many as you need for a meal.) Add water to cover. Season to taste with salt. Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of butter. Cover, bring to boil and cook until almost done. Make a paste of flour and water; stir into potatoes until liquid has consistency of gravy. Continue cooking a few minutes to cook flour. Serve hot. |
