CHEESY SQUASH 
5 yellow squash
2 eggs
3/4 c. self-rising corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Cook squash. Drain and mash. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Stir in self-rising corn meal, flour, onions and cheese. Drop by spoonful into hot oil.
