SCALLOPED CHEESE TOMATOES 
1/2 pkg. herb bread stuffing
1 1/2 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. onions, thinly sliced
1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. sugar

Mix stuffing with melted butter. Place in lightly greased shallow baking dish in alternate layers with cheese, onions, and tomatoes. Combine salt, oregano and sugar and sprinkle on top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Wonderful as extra vegetable. Serves 6.
