CRUSTY TOMATO SCALLOP BAKE 
2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes (or fresh stewed tomatoes - add extra flavor)
1 c. dry or toasted fresh bread cubes
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. flour
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard powder
2 slices buttered bread
Oregano

Combine tomatoes and bread cubes. Melt butter and add flour and seasonings. Add tomato mixture and pour into greased 1 quart casserole. Cube buttered bread and place on top. Sprinkle a small amount of oregano on top. Bake 30 minutes in 400 degree oven. Great recipe for fresh tomatoes from the garden.
