SALTED PEANUT BARS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. softened butter
1 egg

Combine base ingredients. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Press in an ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with 4 or 5 cups of miniature marshmallows. Return pan to oven for 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows puff. Cool.

TOPPING:

2/3 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. salted peanuts

In large saucepan, heat corn syrup, butter, vanilla and chips until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts. Immediately spread warm topping over marshmallow layer. Chill and cut into bars.
