LASAGNA 
6 slices lasagna noodles
1 lb. carton cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 slices Mozzarella or 1/2 lb. grated plus enough to cover top
2 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tomato juice or tomato sauce

Brown hamburger and onion and drain. Add tomato paste, sugar, dried parsley, pepper, oregano, salt, and tomato juice or sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.

Cook noodles as directed. Cover bottom of pan with enough sauce to keep noodles from sticking, then layer noodles, thin layer cottage cheese, sprinkle Parmesan cheese, layer of sauce, and Mozzarella.

Second layer: noodles, cottage cheese, sprinkle Parmesan and layer of sauce.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Then cover with Mozzarella. Bake until cheese melts.

NOTE: This is good made up a night before and baked the next day. It cuts and slices perfectly.
