HEAVENLY CHEESE SALAD | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 1 c. sugar 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 c. colby or American cheese, shredded 1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip 1 c. hot water 1 c. nuts (optional) Dissolve Jello in hot water. Boil undrained pineapple and sugar for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Add Jello. Let stand until partly set (2 or 3 hours) in the refrigerator. Add shredded cheese and nuts. Beat together and fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip. |
