HEAVENLY APPLE SALAD 
2 pkgs. lemon Jello
1 c. hot water
16 lg. marshmallows, diced
1 c. cold water
1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 lg. apples, diced
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Dissolve the Jello in hot water, stir in marshmallows until melted. Stir in cold water and chill until almost set. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill until firm. Use a 9"x13" dish.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. whipping cream, whipped

Beat sugar, eggs and lemon juice. Cook over low heat until thick. Cool, then add whipping cream and spread over top of the first mixture. Better if made the day before using.
