APPLE CRISP 
12 lg. green apples
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt

Place peeled and thinly sliced apples in large oblong baking pan. Pour sugar over apples; sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix topping with pastry cutter and sprinkle over top of apple mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serves 12.
