APPLE CRISP 
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. sliced apples
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. baking powder

Sift sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon together and combine with apples. Mix well and place in bottom of 8 inch square pan

To make topping, combine dry ingredients and cut in butter to make crumbs. Put crumbs on top of apple mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve hot or cold with whip cream.
