FIG-STRAWBERRY PRESERVES 
4 c. figs, chopped
5 c. sugar
4 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry gelatin
1/4 c. water

Mix chopped figs and strawberry gelatin together in pan with sugar and 1/4 cup water. Cook to a rolling boil and boil 5 minutes hard, but keep it stirred all the time. Pour into jars and seal.
