FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 med. can fruit cocktail (NOT DRAINED)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix well. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven in well greased 9x13x2 inch pan.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3/4 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to boil. Boil until it forms soft ball stage.

Punch lots of holes in cake (with fork or straw) as soon as it is baked. While icing is hot, pour over cake.
