GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
2 qt. green tomatoes, quartered
2 c. chopped onions
3/4 c. hot pepper, chopped (more or less)
3 tbsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
2 c. sugar

Put tomatoes, onions, and hot pepper in kettle. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over the tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and put in sterile jars; seal.
