Just made this for dinner. My husband and I both love honey barbeque! We used plain bullseye bbq sauce and next time will use something else. But overall the recipe was delish!

I made this a few nights ago, it was the best chicken my family and I have ever had! Frying it before baking it really sealed in the flavor, and the meat was so tender and never dry. I used Tony Roma's bbq sauce, it was delicious.

I make this at least once a week. Very easy and tastes great! I use sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Really light batter when fried which is great!

I have 4 kids and I can never make one dish that they all like. I am not a very good cook either but when I made this all of them came back for seconds. I made a double batch which was a good thing. I am starting to think that maybe I can cook now. Thank You so much for the recipe.

I didn't have any Worcestershire sauce so I seasoned the chicken with complete seasoning and I seasoned the flour. Other than that I followed the recipe to its exact. Well not really I baked the chicken for an addition 10 minutes just to make sure it was cooked all the way. Still waiting on the timer to go off so I can taste the dish (I really hope this dish is good my mother in law is such a great cook and she criticizes every dish she always finds something wrong with what I cook, I'm having her for dinner tonight I hope she likes it) I will keep you updated I'm serving the chicken with white rice and baked beans... Its finally finished I love it!!!!

Made this for dinner tonite. Had to use soy sauce b/c I didn't have Worcestershire. Didn't have honey so I used plain sweet baby ray's. I used quarter chicken legs b/c it was all I had. I should've used more oil since my chicken pieces were bigger. Anyway the chicken was very tender but it wasn't seasoned enough for me. Next time I'm gonna sprinkle the seasonings directly on the meat (under the skin). And here I thought it might've turned out too salty. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to marinate the chicken before frying especially larger, thicker pieces. I should've added some brown sugar to the Sweet Baby Ray's b/c it wasn't sweet enough plain. I gave this a four b/c of the tenderness. I can't remember fixing a more tender (and juicy) chicken without covering it up w/ foil. I'm giving this a five b/c my grandson said it was great and he's picky. Will definitely be making this recipe again. Thanx.

Okay, so I made this for dinner using 7 drumsticks that I brined for a couple of hours in 4 cups water and 2 tbsp. table salt. I didn't use the Worcestershire because I was worried it would be salty since I brined in salt, then seasoned w/ garlic salt and seasoned salt. Plus, the super simple homemade BBQ sauce has soy sauce and salt in it. So, I guess I'm just afraid that it'll come out to salty. Anywhoo, it didn't turn out bad but it wasn't better than the last time I made it either. I could definitely taste the salt that's for sure. I'm getting the feeling that this recipes only works for the boneless, skinless breasts and the wings. I don't think it works as well for drummies and thighs IMHO.
