GREAT GRANOLA 
4 c. oats, quick or old fashioned
1 c. chopped almonds or nuts
3/4 c. shelled sunflower seeds
3/4 c. unsweetened wheat germs
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. chopped dried fruit - apricots, dates or raisins
1 c. flaked coconuts

In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut, nuts, sunflower seeds and wheat germ. Combine oil, honey and stir into oats mixture. Spread in a 9 x 9 inch glass pan or microwave-proof mixing bowl. Microwave on full power, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring 3 times. Stir in fruits and allow to cool. Stir a few times during cooling to prevent lumping. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 10 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
