1 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 - 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, at room temp.
Pecans for each cookie

Cut butter into flour, paprika and cayenne pepper. Mix in cheese. Chill. Roll and cut with cookie cutter.

Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Place a pecan on each cookie. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes.
