“MUSHROOMS IN SOUR CREAM” IS IN:

MUSHROOMS IN SOUR CREAM 
8 slices bacon, cut up
1/2 cup minced onion
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon flour
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Toast

In skillet fry bacon until crisp; drain on absorbent toweling. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Add onion and mushrooms; sauté 10 minutes over low heat. Stir in flour. Add sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until heated through. Spoon over toast. Sprinkle on bacon.

Cooks Note: To retain natural color of mushrooms, sprinkle with lemon juice or lemon juice diluted in water; toss lightly.

Makes 4-6 servings.
