SEAFOAM SLAW 
1 pkg. lime Jello
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. vinegar
Dash of pepper
3/4 tsp. celery seed
2 c. finely shredded cabbage
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cold water
2/3 c. mayonnaise
4 tsp. grated onion

Dissolve Jello and salt in hot water. Add cold water, vinegar, mayonnaise, pepper, onion and celery seed. Beat to blend. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in cabbage. Pour into molds. Chill until firm. Unmold on salad greens. Serve with more mayonnaise, if desired. Makes 6 or 7 servings.

I have served this slaw on occasion for 30 years.
