SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. oysters
1 c. cracker crumbs (soda crackers)
1/4 c. butter
Milk and oyster liquid (equal parts)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika

Drain oysters; remove any bits of shell. Roll crackers into coarse crumbs. Place a layer of crumbs on bottom of dish; add layer of oysters and sprinkle with seasonings. Add generous dabs of butter. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used ending with a layer of crackers.

Mix milk with oyster liquid and slowly add at sides until moisture shows at top of dish. Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) for 20 to 30 minutes. Top should be crisp and brown and center should be moist and buttery. Serves 4. Delicious!
