BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE SQUARES 
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 c. apples, pared and chopped
6 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
3 1/2 oz. can flaked coconut
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. chopped nuts

In 13 x 9 inch pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over melted butter. Top with apples. In a heavy sauce pan, over medium heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk. Pour this mixture evenly over apples. Top with coconut and nuts, pressing down firmly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees (325 degrees if using a glass dish) or until lightly browned. Cool. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip. refrigerate leftovers.
