TERRI'S PRIZE-WINNING HOMEMADE
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I won a First Place Ribbon at the Greenup County Fair one year with this recipe.

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Hershey's chocolate chips
Hershey's Kisses (1 per cookie)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a bowl cream softened butter and sugars. Then add the eggs and vanilla, mix. Slow mix in flour, one cup at a time. Stir in chocolate chips.

Prepare a cookie sheet with Reynolds parchment paper. Use a teaspoon to drop dough on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes.

Note: Keep checking on them so they don't burn.

When they are done take them out and let cool. Place an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss on top while cookie is still soft.

YUM YUM! Happy baking!
