"VEGETABLE CASSEROLE" 
1 c. cooked seasoned rice
1/2 lb. hamburger
2 potatoes, sliced
2 onions, sliced
2 c. carrots, diced
2 c. peas
1 qt. whole tomatoes or juice

Place in order given in casserole dish, except for putting 1 onion between hamburger and potatoes and 1 onion on top of potatoes. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Place cooked rice on top. Cover and bake in moderate oven for 2 to 3 hours.
