HAM LOAVES WITH CHERRY SAUCE 
1 lb. ground smoked ham
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

CHERRY SAUCE:

2 c. or 1 can sour cherries
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar

Combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, egg and dry mustard. Shape into 4 loaves and place on a rack in a baking pan. Top with the brown sugar- mustard topping and bake in oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, combine cornstarch and sugar with the cherries and cook, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and is clear. Serve ham loaves topped with cherry sauce. Serve additional cherry sauce in a sauce boat. Yield: 4 servings.
