SPLIT PEA SOUP | |
1 c. cooked diced ham 3 3/4 c. boiling water 1 ham bone 1 3/4 c. split green peas 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 chopped onion In a pot combine water, ham bone, peas, salt, pepper and onion. Cover; cook slowly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Remove bone. Cut meat from bone. Blend meat cubes and diced ham into soup mixture. Cook until heated. Serves 6. |
