CURRIED FRUIT COMPOTE 
Canned fruits: peaches, pears, apricots, pineapple chunks and dark cherries
2/3 c. slivered almonds
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. curry powder (or more if you like it spicy

Drain all fruit. Mix other ingredients and stir over medium heat until well blended. Pour over drained fruit; serve warm. Very simple and very yummy served with meat entre or on buffet table.
