CORNBREAD DRESSING | |
1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1 1/4 c. melted butter 8 c. toasted dry bread cubes 2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 tsp. pepper 2 c. finely chopped celery 6 c. crumbled cornbread 4 tsp. salt 4 c. chicken broth Brown onion and celery in butter. Combine with bread cubes, cornbread and seasonings. Pour on broth and stir lightly to blend. Stuff the turkey (10 to 12 pound) or shape into balls and place in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, covered for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 10 more minutes. |
