TIME-SAVING PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 3/4 c. shortening 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/2 c. cool water Mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Add shortening and mix well. Beat eggs, water, and lemon juice. Add to flour mixture. This will become sticky. Divide into 5-6 parts and roll out very thin. Place into pie pans and freeze. After freezing, remove crusts from pans and you can stack them in the freezer. |
