SAUSAGE AND SAUERKRAUT SKILLET 
3 tbsp. butter
2 apples, sliced
2 lbs. sausage
1 med. onion
3 strips bacon
2 lbs. sauerkraut
1 1/4 c. apple juice
1 tsp. caraway seeds
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can potatoes
1 tbsp. parsley

Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add apples and saute until golden. Remove and set aside. Brown sausage, remove, set aside. Saute onion until clear and bacon until crisp. Add sauerkraut, stir until cooked. Pour in apple juice and put apples and sausage back in skillet. Add next 3 ingredients then potatoes. Stir until coated. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Serves 6.
