TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
Cake:

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
2 sq. baking Hershey's chocolate
1 c. water
dash of salt
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla

Icing:

1 stick butter
2 sq. Hershey's baking chocolate
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 c. nuts (optional)

Cake: Mix together and set aside the buttermilk and soda. Sift together the sugar and flour in a bowl and set aside. Melt the butter, baking chocolate, water and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour immediately into flour and sugar bowl. Add buttermilk mixture, eggs and vanilla. Grease 9 x 13 (or sheet pan) and bake at 365°F until toothpick stuck in cake comes out clean.

Icing: Five minutes before cake is done, mix the butter, baking chocolate and buttermilk. Bring to boil and remove from heat. Add the powdered sugar and nuts (optional). Mix well and pour over cake while cake is hot.
