FRIED ICE CREAM 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
1/2 c. chopped nuts (peanuts, walnuts or pecans)
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened

Heat sugar and butter in saucepan until melted. Add rest of ingredients except ice cream, stir well. Press half of mixture in 11 inch x 7 inch pan. Spread with ice cream. Top with rest of mixture. Freeze.
