Dill Cucumbers 3 onions, sliced 3 cloves garlic 1 qt. water 1 pt. vinegar 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. salt Put dill on bottom of jar. Slice large cucumbers lengthwise and place in jar with onions and garlic. Put dill on top. Boil rest of ingredients and pour hot brine over cucumbers. Let stand 24 hours, then refrigerate. Keeps 2 weeks. Males 1 gallon |
