TONGO RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
2 oz. can whole tomatoes
1 lb. hamburger
1 pkg. taco season powder
1 block cheddar cheese

Cook rice (set aside). Brown hamburger and drain. Crush tomatoes and juice. Add taco powder. Boil, then simmer (the longer, the better). Add rice and stir in sauce. Put in casserole dish. Grate cheese and sprinkle over casserole. Put in oven. Heat until cheese is melted.
