1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Mix in bowl butter, flour, and nuts. Put in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix with mixer cheese, sugar, and Cool Whip and spread on top of cool crust. Put in ice box and let set up then fix 2 packages instant pudding with 3 cups milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on top of second layer. Top with Cool Whip and pecans.
