TURNIP PUFF | |
3 c. mashed yellow turnip 2 eggs, separated 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. butter Beat egg yolks slightly, combine with turnip, sugar, seasonings and butter. Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a 1 quart greased casserole and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until firm and slightly brown. |
