GINGER SNAPS 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2/3 c. molasses
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into small balls and with tip of fingers, flatten each one a little in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. These really crack.
