THRIFTY STEAK AND MUSHROOMS | |
3 sm. onions, diced 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1 tbsp. butter Salt & pepper 1 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. tomato juice 1 env. Au Jus gravy mix 1 1/4-1 1/2 lb. boneless top round steak, cut up Cook onions, garlic and mushrooms in butter. Add cut up steak. Brown until done. Add water and tomato juice; stir in gravy mix. Simmer 4 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles. Serves 4. |
