1 lb. or more frozen cod 2 tbsp. vinegar (apple cider type) 2 tbsp. salt Cold water Place frozen cod in pan. Cover with cold water. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar. Bring to simmer for 6 minutes. Pour off water; rinse. Add 2 tablespoons salt. Cover a second time with cold water; bring to simmer for 6 minutes. Pour off water. Serve fish with melted butter and lemon juice. |
