NO COOK MINT PATTIES 
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. sifted powdered sugar
Red and green food coloring

Blend corn syrup, butter, extract, and salt. Add sugar; mix with spoon and hands until smooth. Divide into thirds; knead 1 drop red food coloring into one third and 1 drop green food coloring into another third.

(Leave remaining third white). Shape into small balls, flatten with fork on waxed paper. Let dry several hours or overnight. Makes 72 mints.
