KATHY'S LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground chuck beef
1 med. onion
1 (16 oz.) can Hunts tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can Hunts tomato sauce
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
1 lg. ricotta cheese
2 pkgs. sliced Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Sugar to taste
1/2 tsp. oregano

Brown beef and onion in oil, stir with a fork. Drain, add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar. Bring to boil, then simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles and drain and rinse. Cover bottom of large baking dish with 1 1/2 cups of beef mixture. Top with single layer of noodles, then put half ricotta cheese and Mozzarella. Repeat. Top with beef mixture and cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
