SPARERIBS DELIGHT 
7 lbs. spareribs, cut into pieces
1 bay leaf
5 or 6 peppercorns

SAUCE:

1 bottle chili sauce
1 sm. bottle ketchup
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar

In a large pot, cover ribs with water. Add bay leaf and peppercorns. Simmer for 30 minutes. Mix vinegar and sugar together in a saucepan. Add the chili sauce and ketchup. Drain ribs and arrange them on a foil lined baking sheet. Brush with sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, basting occasionally. Turn ribs; baste with sauce and bake an additional 30 minutes.
