BULGOGI (Korean Fire Meat) | |
1 lb. lean beef 2 tbsp. sugar 4 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. sesame oil 1 tbsp. sesame seed 4 tbsp. chopped green onion 3/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. pepper Cut beef across grain in thin (1/4 inch) squares. Combine remaining ingredients for marinade. Marinate beef at least 15 minutes, several hours is best. Pan fry for about 5 minutes, stirring until tender. Pour remaining marinade over meat just before serving and use as a sauce over rice. Makes 4 servings. |
